Her practice, based in Northern Kentucky, is focused on criminal defense, divorce as well as all aspects of family law, including paternity, adoption, and child support. Ms. Schaffner has represented individuals in all aspects of family law. Ms. Schaffner has litigated several cases through the appeals process, resulting in changes to Kentucky law affecting families. Early in her career, Ms. Schaffner successfully litigated civil and criminal matters from traffic tickets to murder jury trials, before choosing to focus solely on family law.

Devon S. Calitri

Devon Calitri brings an impressive skill set to her family law practice, assisting clients throughout Kentucky in the full spectrum of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division and post-decree modifications. She has practiced law since 2005, founded her own firm in 2006, and has focused on family law issues for much of her career. She is an accomplished litigator who advocates aggressively both in and out of court on behalf of her clients. Additionally, she serves as Assistant County Attorney in the Daviess County Attorney’s office; assigned to Juvenile, Dependency, Neglect, and Abuse cases in the Family Court System. 

Devon is a member of the Daviess County Bar Association and serves on the board of directors as secretary of the organization. In private practice she has represented professional athletes and other high-asset individuals who needed to sort through complex property division concerns. Devon has demonstrated her entrepreneurial skills along with her business acumen while building a successful law office within the highly competitive Northern Kentucky marketplace.

Damion J. Sanford

Damion J. Sanford was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky where he attended the University of Kentucky. He received his J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Chase Law in May 2019.

During law school, Damion developed trial experience by participating in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial, where he developed theories for prosecution and defense, opening and closing statements, and strategies for direct and cross examinations. He also gained an appreciation of Voir Dire strategies to increase the chances of selecting a jury that will be receptive to the theory of the case.

In private practice Damion is tough-minded and develops a strong attachment for his work for his clients and achieving their goals. He will go to great lengths to ensure the satisfaction of his clients during legal matters. When challenged, Damion becomes objective, searching hard for facts and figures, and does not hesitate to stand up aggressively for what he believes in.
